McTimoney spinal manipulation technique is named after John McTimoney, who in the 1950's adapted the human technique to apply to animals. McTimoney Manipulation for animals is one of many therapies, which is complementaryto veterinary treatment, but never a substitute for thorough veterinary assessment and diagnosis. A McTimoney treatment, may help in many conditions, but is by no means a cure-all!

My name is Peggy Sofley, I have been an animal therapist for 12 years! I graduated from the McTimoney College for Chiropractic in 2000! I also hold a Equine Sports Massage qualification! The priority of my work is undoubtedly in the equine field, as horses have a more effective way of telling when they are sore. Dog owners, however, have recognised the benefit of the McTimoney Treatment too!
The combination of the love for animals and the fascination for the effectivness of spinal manipulation and massage have lead me to my career. I'm passionate about my job, and love to see animals perform in the best possible way!
